Keeping Cold Cozy

before felting

A cup or bottle cozy for the hot drinks one needs in winter is obvious – to keep it hot and my hands from burning. But I have discovered that a felted wool bottle cozy is also ideal for summer and my chilled water bottle. Chilled water + stainless steel bottle = wet.

My felted wool cozy is keeping my water colder longer and keeps it from leaving water rings on everything I set it down on – and my hands dry!

Now that’s cool! And make sure you notice the ever-so-cool hot (fused) glass button by my DH!

The details:
Yarn; Shepherd’s Wool worsted in dark eggplant (they call it Plum), Noro Kureyon in color # 207 (basically purples and oranges).
Pattern: This one is from a free pattern on the now (sadly) gone Mag Knits by LynnH.  But you can buy a full featured and fancier version from her web site at Color Joy!

This was fun, I think I’ll do another  :)
